While data was being collected and recorded down, two actual solar flares happened and it was not an abnormalities.
4.3 Evaluation of engineering goals
We have not met our goal as we did not managed to build a working radio telescope.
4.4 Areas for improvement
We should be more specific when we are researching as it could have allowed us to record data. For example, we could have found a backup way in case our current method did not work. Also we should be more careful when soldering and putting in the electrical components as it might have played a part in why we could not record data. We also need to be more specific when sawing the PVC pipes to make the optimal length to hold the antenna.
